Hemp-agrimony

Eupatorium cannabinum, commonly known as hemp-agrimony, is a perennial wildflower native to Europe and western Asia. It is distinguished by its tall, erect stems, serrated leaves that resemble those of hemp, and dense clusters of small, pinkish-lilac flowers that bloom from midsummer to early autumn. Unlike many wildflowers, it thrives in moist habitats such as riverbanks, ditches, and wet meadows. Its nectar-rich flowers attract a wide range of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and hoverflies, making Eupatorium cannabinum an important species for supporting biodiversity in damp temperate ecosystems.
